Atomic Bomb

Earlier in our Media Laws & Ethics class, our professor, Ron Gagalac, talked about how news go hand in hand with entertainment. He pointed out that some viewers watch news because they go after the eyecandy field reporters.
Sir Ron: Lalo na yung paborito nyong si Atom Araullo. Ano? Papogian na lang?
And all the girls (including me) went, "hihihihihi si Sir Atom". Uhm-hmm, my batchmates call Atom Araullo, (a.k.a the mighty Athorm Araullo) who stood still in the middle of the super typhoon just to deliver the news *tears*, bicozzz he was our Introduction to Journalism professor during our second year. We are his first students and hopefully the last! Mwahaha! Pinagdamot?

Lunch date with Sir Atom lol
I know I blogged about how I fell madly in... what's the term? Fudge no, I wouldn't say in love. Hmm. Okay, let's say, I was smitten. The first time I saw him was, of course, in our first meeting in class. It was a rainy Saturday morning, I was late for a few minutes, took a deep sigh and opened the door. He was standing in front wearing his white long sleeves, black pants and his welcoming smile. Okay, define starstruck. But he went on with his lectures and he looked like a kid on his first day of kindergarten. He's so new at this and clearly don't know what to do. He was holding his notebook and looking at his notes the entire time he's teaching. But it's okay, what he said made sense naman. So, the semester went on having him as our professor. Some of the girls in our class would look their best during our class with Sir Atom. Yung iba, may pagkulot pa ng hair. It's the "Oh no, andyan na si sir! Kamusta naman ang heyyr koooo" moment for the girls. And it's the "Oh, please -___-" phase for the guys.

If you might ask, "Magaling magturo?" Well, he was very laid-back and chill lang. Dinadaan nya ang lahat sa matamis na ngiti. Haha no. Yes, he teaches by the book and corresponds it with his experience as a field reporter. You wouldn't go "Aaaagh! Information overload!" after his discussion. He's very chill. There's this one time that he asked us to pick a partner, talk about either near death experience or first love and share it to the class. That's it.

Sir Atom is one of the nicest professor alive. Why? Cause he never gave us a hard time working for projects. The only time he gave us something productive to was during the final period when he asked us to write a feature article depending on what topic we want. Guess what my article is about. Hmm? This. Blogging.
LET YOUR KEYBOARD DO THE TALKING
Awww.
Sir's love note on my notebook.
Hihihihi.
Until now, we still keep in touch. Kaya tuwing holiday o may okasyon, excited ako lagi. Kasi I'd get to text or tweet to greet him. My classmates do the same. Teeheee.
3 years ago. I have no idea how did he know that I'm a fan of Sam Concepcion
2013 Christmas Day and New Year.
