DLSU-D has done it again. It's been around the news for the past week and it's just awesomazing. ANIMOSAIC was a success! Apart from attempting to break the world record of forming the biggest coin mural, this event aims to raise funds for the Yolanda survivors and One La Salle Scholarship program. So whether we break the world record or not, the goal of helping those in need is a success. And ANIMOSAIC still is the first ever coin mural ever made in the Philippines.
For the past 5 days, I saw how it was formed. I was just a few meters away from a history being made. I witnessed how the organizers and volunteers put all their time and effort to make the event possible. I've heard how the donors and sponsors put their interest to help the project. I saw how ANIMOSAIC is being publicized by the media. I saw the people's "omg wow" faces everytime they see the coin mural. I feel pride every single time I walk behind the barricades of the coin mural. And when someone ask me, "Nakakita ka na ba ng isang milyon?" I would proudly say, "Oo. Nakalatag pa sa harapan ko."
