Cebu Escapade!

Since we have few days left before our flight, we decided to live the "this is the life" moment. We went to Cebu! Woot woot! Last time I was in Cebu was 5 years ago, and I didn't get to see more of it cause we went there for SEP and we didn't have much time to pasyal. After our short stay at Dumaguete, we traveled through land, water and air (more like, hampas ng air while on the bus).

We stayed in ate Sarah's beach house in Ginatilan. Oh, bless ate Sarah's heart, such a giver (thanks ate Sarah!) As our tummies grumble, we searched for a decent place to eat.. but there was none. But then, okay! We managed to eat ihaw ihaw by the kanto for dinner. Hmm mm! Late night stories, massage, zzzzz.

We woke up late the next day, so we had 2 seconds to get ready for our next stop. Rode SUNRAYS (locals pronounced it as SAN-RAYS, hahaha no offense though) bus, and off we go to our extreme adventure. It was extreme for me, I think the most extreme thing I did was that zipline in Singapore where I was yay way above the ground. So this is my level of extreme. Haha. Oh yea, we went swimming with the whale shark!!! OHDIBA! Grabe. Well, technically I didn't swim kasi I dunno how to swim, more like I let the wave take me and my life jacket hahaha. But it was just epic! I would go see underwater and come across three whale sharks just few meters away from me. Grabe lang. I didn't get to touch it though, but I accidentally kicked it. Hooohmaaay! No, it didn't bite my feet off. Phew! When we got off the shore, I looked myself in the mirror and saw a balugang Rachel. I got 67 tones darker! Hahaha ang oa ko forever. But it was okay, it was worth the kaiitiman!

But wait! There's more! After Oslob, we found our way to Inambakan Falls! We went back to Ginatilan, ate lunch, and rode habal-habal (that's what they call it, right?) for 10 minutes to the falls. It was aaaahhh.. love at first sight. I said a short prayer and thanked God for how magnificent his creation is. Just woah. Ang ganda. Ang lamig. Ang saya. I even got to jump through the running falls grabe! With the help, of course, of the ever gentleman Don and Reuel who made me do it even if I don't know how to swim. Yay! Haha.

After all those extreme adventures, we traveled nearly 4 hours to the city to meet up with Cebu peeps and watch Maleficent. I really wanted to watch the movie but my eyes and hypothalamus says otherwise so huhuhu nasayang ko yung movie ticket and I slept through the entire movie. I woke up na credits na lang yung nakita ko.

We stayed the night at ate Sarah's (thank you talaga, ate Sarah). We planned to roam the city the next day but we ended up staying at the mall and did the usual barkada at the mall stuff. But it was sooo fun! Visayas peeps (oh and Mindanao peeps) are so fun and cool to be with. No dull moments grabe. They made it sooo hard to say buh bye. With that, I'll definitely come back!
