Aaah. Finally! Time to blog! For the past months, I've been occupied meeting deadlines and requirements for my acads and org duties. I barely had time to spend 10 minutes in front of the mirror (like I normally do) more so to blog. So, waddup?
For starters, I finally got in to Heraldo Filipino, the official publication in De La Salle University - Dasmarinas, as a Feature apprentice. Yay! Getting through the application exam and panel interview was never easy. I had to gather all my guts and pride to get going but by the time I finally got in, all the hard knocks paid off. I just had to leave my other org, Lifters, to balance my time well. It's my life-long dream to see my name on the byline of an article, and being a part of HF is one step ahead to reach that dream. Through the process of editing, I'm gradually learning of what to do and what not to do, and it really does help me improve as a writer. But I had a hard time balancing my time for my acad duties and for HF. My friend was right when she said "Iba talaga pag 3rd year!", I couldn't get that out of my mind because she repeatedly say that when we were 2nd year. And so the expected happened, iba nga talaga pag 3rd year. I thought what we did when we were 2nd year was way out of my league, I thought wrong, 3rd year was beyond intense! Thus, our bond as a block became more intense as well.

Sleepless nights, sun-kissed skins, bad temper, laughter, endless convos, delightful meals, I share these moments with the most amazing people I know. Our block may have the least number of students compared to other blocks and we may be overlooked at some point but we have our ways in proving ourselves and showing off our potentials. Our patience and relationship as a block have tested through time and I'm saying "Yay!" with pride because we got through all of those trials and shortcomings with a smile with konting luha sa may tearducts. I'm proud of what my block has accomplished and what we have proved. And I'm proud that I'm part of COM33. I would take a bullet for you guys! I love you sagad to the bones! COM33! Matira matibay! Ye-ah!
