Medical Mission

Three years ago, Across Ministry and GCI Mla. South conducted a medical mission for the residents of Binan, Laguna. By that time, I was the President of Student Council of our campus so that medical mission became my project as a President. I was just one of the usherettes that guides the patients where they must lead to after such and such. But this time, I'm no longer the usherette who just extend my arm and say "Dito po." I'm now one of those respectful counselors who hears out every word the patient has to say and share the love of God. I was hesitant at first to accept the job as a counselor but then as I got my butt on that monoblock chair, I knew I was made to do this. God used me as His instrument to share how awesome and magnificent He is. Every patient has their different interpretation of how they see God works in their lives, and I'm glad knowing that most of them accepted Him way way before. To those young people, who I counseled, who aren't that much aware of what God is to them, I gave them a special assignment, they have to think through and realize as they grow up what is God's role to their lives and when we meet again in another Medical Mission 3 to 5 years from now perhaps, they would tell me everything they thought of through the years. So there, my medical mission experience as a counselor has to come to and end. 'Till the next counseling.. Ciao! :)

Bubog

Physical, mental and emotional wounds that never heal. These are wounds that will remain wounds forever. And as you age, it becomes deeper and stronger. It becomes part of your identity as a person like a scar in the cheek and birthmark in the ear.
Bubog. Isang salita, milyun-milyon ang maaring mahita.
